Space technology for sustainable development

Space for sustainable development is the use of space technology to create a  positive impact on our society, economy and environment.

Welcome to the Space for Development website, an initiative supported by the UK Space Agency and managed by Caribou Space.

Our aim is to share the varied and innovative ways that space technology is being used to solve development challenges across a number of sectors and explore the development impact of using space technology.  We do this through showcasing the latest research, impact evaluations, case studies and economic analysis from the UKSA International Partnership Programme (IPP) and other space agencies initiatives, academic institutions and international development agencies.

You can view and download resources by sectors such as agriculture, finance, forestry or disaster resilience, search the library, view the IPP project map and the space solution catalogue.
