Soil monitoring helps build climate resilience for Nigeria’s farmers

Working with the World Bank, GMV as part of the European Space Agency (ESA) Global Development Assistance (GDA) Agile EO Information Development (AID) Climate Resilience Consortium has designed a system for monitoring soil organic carbon in the croplands of northern Nigeria. The project aims to increase the implementation of sustainable landscape management practices in targeted watersheds in northern Nigeria and strengthen Nigeria’s capacity for integrated climate-resilient landscape management.
