Between crises: Puntland’s response to COVID & Cyclone GATI

In Puntland, Somalia, the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data, with partners like GRID3, supported the Puntland Statistics Office in utilising geospatial data to inform COVID-19 response and later assess impacts of Cyclone GATI. By strengthening GIS capacity, they enabled rapid, targeted emergency responses, showcasing the critical role of data in crisis management for vulnerable populations.
