Pest Risk Information SErvice (PRISE)

Product by CABI (Centre for Agriculture and Biosciences International)

The Pest Risk Information SErvice (PRISE) led by CABI aims to improve the livelihoods of farmers by reducing crop losses caused by pests in sub-Saharan Africa. The computational modelling system brings together earth observation data, pest modelling algorithms, and on-the-ground observations to forecast pest risks across geographical locations. This risk is communicated to a variety of users via different channels, and crowdsourced feedback is collected to validate and improve the system.
