CABI Product

Product by CABI (Centre for Agriculture and Biosciences International)

Working with the University of Manchester, CABI is developing a system for novel analysis of the distribution and intensity of the harmful invasive weed Parthenium on agricultural land in Pakistan. Information integrated from remote sensing satellite data, coupled with on-the-ground field and crowdsourcing data, will provide timely and accurate mapping for use in policy decision making, monitoring of effectiveness of biocontrol agents, and niche ecological mapping for potential early warning and prevention techniques.
